Early 70s Mustang Fastback

I prefer the 1973 Mustang to the 1971 model, it is a 'cleaner' design in my opinion.

I first fell in love with these Mustang Fastbacks cars when I saw James Bond in Diamonds are Forever.  The movie wasn't perfect but I enjoyed the car chase scene even if he started driving on two wheels on the left side of the car to negotiate a narrow laneway, and then exiting the laneway on the other two wheels.

Here are a couple of pics of the 1971 Mustang Fastback from the film.

There were subtle changes to the 1973 model via the grill and striping...

I can't decide which I like best - the red one or the blue one?

  1. Red is best.

If you haven't seen it, watch James May On the Moon. It's a blast seeing the astronauts in their matching gold Corvettes.

    1. Anyone can install bonnet scoops, duh. Well, they couldn't be EXACTLY the bloody same could they--even a dickhead could tell a wanker that much. The XC also had bonnet scoops, hood scoops for those Americans out there.
