Welcome Home Chris

Welcome Home Parade for Mentoring Task Force 4 - 21 July 2012

10.40 am Saturday 21 July 2012

Venue: Gallipoli Barracks Enoggera, Queensland

Parade will be hosted by 7 Brigade to welcome home members of Australian Task Force Ten (AUS TF-10) consisting of Mentoring Task Force Rotation Four (MTF-4), Force Communication Unit Rotation Six (FCU-6) and Brisbane-based elements of Mentoring Task Force Rotation Three (MTF-3); and farewell Artillery Mobile Training Team Rotation One (AMTT-1) on Saturday 21 July 2012.

The members of the Brisbane based MTF-4 concluded their deployment to the Middle East on Operation SLIPPER, in late June 2012.

The parade will be conducted at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera in Brisbane. You are requested to arrive at 10.10am.

The parade will commence at 10.40 am and will be followed by a family barbeque luncheon for the troops, their families and official guests, and you are welcome to depart at your own convenience.

The parade will be an opportunity for family, friends and the wider community to formally welcome home the returned troops.

I'm heading up see my son Chris to welcome him home.

Six of my mates whom I served with in Vietnam are also coming along to welcome him home as well

I'll be off air for a few days.

Tried to catch up with you yesterday at Enoggera (I was in Brisbane for a wedding) but was told at the guard room that you had gone to Cloudland.
